I have been using an iMac with an OKI C530dn laser printer for years. I recently purchased a new iMac running on OS X 10.8.2 and downloaded the print drivers. Printing has been fine, but everytime I print, I receive an added page the says:
ERROR: timeout
OFFENDING COMMAND: timeout
STACK:

I have the exact same issue with my Okidata C330dn. After every print job, it prints off an extra page with that error message. This has been happening for 6 months now since I bought a (late 2012) imac. I updated to Mavericks but the problem remains. I have tried redownloading and installing any drivers I can find, but nothing has changed. Over the past half year, I have compiled probably 500 sheets of paper with the following error:

Is there really no solution to this madness? It appears from the original post, at least 20 other people have seen this post and are having the same issue.

try:
Open Disk Utility, select the internal drive, then Repair Permissions.
this worked for me with an OKIC531dn
other posts mention OKI released updated drivers for Yosemite and this fixed the issue for others...
i had the printing extra page issue and once i repaired disk permissions that solved the issue.
