Black Screen while completing installation

I tried installing windows 7 from boot camp countless times and nothing works. I always end up with it booting to a black screen. It's a full install disk, the drivers are on an appropriately named and formatted flash drive which is connected, and the thing refuses to work. I am using a mid 2010 iMac 21.5 inch with windows 7 ultimate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
