Help please. I am trying to get the Accuweather app on my iPad 2, but it tells me I need to have the IOS5 to do so. How do I get the download for my iPad 2? Any help will be appreciated- thank you!

You connect it to iTunes on a computer and update it to iOS 6.0.1.

You will only be able to upgrade to the most recent iOS, in this case 6.0.1. See the link below for instructions.
You have to connect your iPad to a computer with iTunes installed on it (make sure it is the most recent version iTunes 11) and then when you connect your iPad, you'll see it listed as connected devices, when you click on it's details, you'll see an update button. Click on that, follow the instructions and it will update for you....After iOS 5, you'll be able to update through the iPad itself.
