my 64gb ipod touch wont sync because it cannot be found...also, it cannot be restored since it cant be found.

My Ipod touch, the newest generation, I've lost track, is not able to synch to my itunes because it says it can't detect it, even thought the ipod shows up in the itunes menu. Also, when I tried to restore, it doesn't because it says that it can't detect. PLEASE HELP ME :/

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reboot the computer

- Try anotehr USB port

- Try another cable

- Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

or

- Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

- Try on anoterh computer

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
