I got an ipod touch as a gift 2 days ago, when i received it, the box was still sealed, but after checking it on apple site, my ipod had been activated in september 24 2012, what happened and what should i do now, i am not staying in the US

How do you know it was activated? The iPod can be registered without opening the box.
I don't know exactly because it is a gift sent to my address through mail (UPS). And sorry, it hasn't been activated, it was actived in september 24 2012. I wondered why it had been actived though it was a new one, it was sent to my address in DC in DECEMBER 22 2012, so who actived it ? :( what should i do now?
Contact the person who gave it to you. It appears that it was purchased in September.
How do yoo know it was activated? It may only have been registered when it was sold.
Seal is not broken, but ipod had been actived already
