Installer Language??? HELP!
iTunes-OTHER, Windows 7
Choose Installation Options article
Apparently you can select the language for installing. I say because i'm on a mac and have no experience of this
Apparently this happens automatically that iTunes installer selects a language for you. Most likely based of some wierd information it gets from a windows request or something.
My windows is a windows 7 ultimate with only English display language installed and language for non unicode programs is set to united states English.
Oh I see. Perhaps sometime later in the installation process you can change language.
Quote from http://ipod.about.com/od/itunesbasics/ss/install_itunes2_3.htm
"After agreeing to terms and proceeding through the initial, basic steps of the installation process"
Seems ludicrous to have to agree to terms you can't read if you can even figure out what buttons to push to agree to the gibberish.
This seems to be a general problem with several programs on windows. Someone out the must have a solution.
So this seems like it might be an unsolveable problem?
Makes me so sad.
BUMP :-(
Still nobody knows any solutions or tricks?

Just a sidenote.
This article didn't help. I managed to fumble my way through the instalation prosess and selecting american language but installer continued in gibberish.
had similar issue with updating itunes ..all my sys settings are for english, and the download 'update require'd pop up was in english, but when i said yes to dl..the 'installer' comes to me in FRENCH... once program is updated, itunes is still all okay in ENGLISH.... i called apple support...all they could say was to contact the dude who made my system (doh--this ISNT a hardware issue)... i tried to ask about why between my sys and wherever they store the download for the upgrade, i would get a french installer version and NOT english...unless theres some kind of re-direct controlled by other 'sources' that defines my area as french (quebec in canada) ...that strikes me as invasive and though apple support denied any 'deal' with province of quebec... could there be a kinda system-internet 'hack' that auto directs the language regardless of what we set our sys to?? offensive at the highest degree if this is the case..trying to track this process down...to bring light to the possibility if it is the case.... irritating for sure...and i know its happened with other software downloads too...
