MacBook Pro Retina Fan Issues

I know I dont think it is normal at all but I got told today that, that is their stance and you can either get a refund or put up with it 😟. I could keep on getting replacements but this is my 3rd one and I dont want to keep on having to wait 2 weeks for them to send me a new one.

I am either going to put up with it and hope they release some sort of software update to sort it or send it back and get something different instead. Very annoying as I really do want a retina macbook pro but can not wait for ages as I sold my old laptop and can not be without any computer....

I think apple MUST fix this (if they are smart enough?). I think if the 10.8.3 update doesn't fix this, a lot of people get angry about it. And what if this issue is getting on all the big news and websites with a negative buying advise?? Apple doesn't sell anymore, so Apple, be smart and admit you're wrong and fix this, it's your premium product!!

And it's nearly always if I'm playing something, for AIFF files the same.

I only notice it when i'm listening to music, not often when I'm browsing or so.

Already got it, but I cant find that history screen, I just can see all the temps at the top...

If you copy past some heavy files for 1 or 2 minutes. The fans will kicks up.

Can't find, but when I'm doing a blackmagic speedtest my temps are going to 46 C max, and the fans are not kicking in.

When I play a apple lossless audio file in iTunes, the fans kick in and the ssd temperature is only 25 C

I think it's not related to the absolute temperature. I have 2 theory:

- the fans will kicks up if the temperature increase more than 3-5 degrees celcius in a short periode of time

- the fans will kicks up if the computer send two very differents temperatures informations one after the other

I did another test and I wasn't able to kick the fans this time.

Maybe it's when copy/reading some specefic files, because when doing a blackmagic test, they dont kick in.

I just did some more testing and copied the folder music (16 gb) from the iTunes folder to my desktop, the reading speed: +-220 Mb/s Writing speed: +-220Mb/s, the temperature was just 24 C, so no huge temperature diffrence. (was 20 C)
