I updated my iTunes to 10.6 and now I can't log into my Apple ID on my iPod Touch. Help?

I updated my iTunes to 10.6 and now I can't log into my Apple ID on my iPod Touch. Help?

I did the new update of the itunes for my itunes and ipod touch (4th generation) and now when I try to log into my apps my apple ID window pops open and keeps popping back open when I try to log in. Has anyone had this problem? Had any success in fixing it? I really need to get this fixed, I can't access any of my apps the require internet. Thank you!

Theres a new version of itunes available. iTunes 11.0.1. Go to itunes.com and download it. Then try again.

I tried downloading the newer Itunes, it didn't change anything in my Ipod Touch that apple ID still won't work. When I first updated to the 10.6 I was using a very old version of Itunes and it changed a lot in my ipod which I think had something to do with it now messing up.
