How to copy previously-burned DVD-R video discs
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2059

To create an image file, launch Disk Utility and select File: New: Disk Image From Folder. In the window that appears, navigate to the desired folder and then click on Image. Give the image file a name, and click on Save when prompted. That’s it.

Thank you for your reply. My wedding DVD contains video - including a play and/or menu options. How can I make a copy of this?

The final copying iMac window / message stated: "Unable to copy, Broken Pipe" and "No mountable file systems." I did all that you stated in your first reply and it seamed to be going well until the end of the copying segment. Can you help with this issue as well? My computer is only one week old and as far as I know is running all current applications and programs.
