I got a new battery and a new ac adapter, it's not logic board because if it was it wouldn't power on. Or dc board because it charges just a little bit to turn on. So what is the problem. Note: i can't reset pram.

The iBook G4 works now. Can some tell me how to install ubuntu 12.04 from a cd (the alternative verison of the iso)
Make sure that you have downloaded the PPC (not Intel) Version of Ubuntu 12.04.
Place the CD in the drive and press ALT after pushing the power button. The startup manager will bring up the icon of the Ubuntu install disk.
Thanks, turns out the Ibook g4 doesn't turn on or charge the battery. battery is new and ac adapter is new. ax adapter is compatible with the computer. dc board or logic board?
