Connecting to iPod/iPhone inputs on new A/V Receiver

I just ordered an Onkyo TX-NR515 A/V Receiver. Does anyone know what cable I need to buy to buy to both listen to audio and watch video?

The receiver has the ability to connect my iPod/iPhone directly to the front of the receiver to "enjoy audio, video and picture playback from my Apple iPod/iPhone on my HDTV". I've downloaded the manual and it's pretty clear that I'll have to connect to both the USB and the RCA Video ports that are side-by-side on the front of the receiver, but it doesn't mention anything about the cable needed.

I have both an iPOD Touch 4th Gen and an iPAd Mini, so I can use either the old 30-pin or new lightning connector, which ever is easier to find (and hopefully cheaper).

Many thanks
