2 steps were left out of this page of instructions [ HT1257 - How to burn a CD or DVD with pictures for a Wndows-based computer [when a Windows computer will be using your photos]
1. Left out Create a burn folder - under File--under the Finder window
2. When, insert the disk and a pop up window appears -click ignore.

You don't have to create a burn folder. But by all means tell Apple
iPhoto menu -> Provide iPhoto Feedback
After, working at the Apple Store yest. and today...this is what finally worked. Mt. Lion changed everything from easy to not.
Or simply select the photo(s) in iPhoto and export to a desktop folder (you can create a new folder during the export) and go to the finder and right click on the new folder and burn to disk - when requested insert the disk

Now Can't open the photo cd on a p.c....
Doesn't automatically open on the p.c. and show the photo's...
can open it and see little photos but, can't them into the p.c. computer.
Any hints?

MAcs don't make 'Photo CDs'. It makes a data disk with photos on it. These can be read on any computer.
