why does my iphone 5 take a long time to charge?

From a few days ago ive been noticing my iphone 5 has been taking longer to charge and it dies faster. is anyone else experencing this problem? what is the cause that it takes longer to charge?

also i have always been using the same original charger.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.2
