MicroKorg -> Logic 9 = no sound.

I'm trying to set up my MicroKorg to record directly onto Logic; I'm using a cheap (could be the problem) USB interface and it and Logic are recognising the notes I'm playing, however there is no sound. I've spent the past few hours toggling various settings but can't seem to get a peep out of the Korg - can anyone offer me advice?

I'd be very grateful.

Thank you.

MIDI, which is what you're seeing (note names) is not sound.

Sound/Audio is what comes out of the output jacks of the MicroKorg.

You will need to take the MK's audio outputs and run them into the audio inputs of the Mac or the audio inputs of an audio interface, (if you have one).

I suggest going here:

http://help.apple.com/logicpro/mac/9.1.6/en/logicpro/usermanual/

And reading the chapters under "Setting Up Your System".

Also try using Google using What Is MIDI" as your search criteria.
