chinese input using mac trackpad is not working in firefox 18

i am using firefox 18 and found out it is not working with chinese input using the magic trackpad ... is this due to the os mountain lion or it is due to the firefox 18?...

any comment and solution?...

If it works everyplace else but not in Firefox, then the Firefox people will have to fix whatever the problem is.
