Garageband asking to use AirPlay interrupts recording.

Garageband 6.0.5, which was shipped with my new iMac, has started randomly interrupting a recording in progress to tell me that it has identified AirPlay available on the computer. An attention window appears and asking if I want to select AirPlay for the Garageband output and the recording is paused. This is unnecessary and annoying as well as ruining recordings.

In Preferences>Audio/Midi I've already selected "Built-In Output" (AirPlay appears as one of the options on this list).

Any ideas what settings I've missed or how I can stop Garageband from asking me if I want to use AirPlay?

I have that issue too, with the Airplay option popping up randomly (or it looks random to me.) Anybody have an idea?

I have this issue also, it is interrupting the GarageBand workflow every 2 - 3 minutes. Garageband is unusable since installing an Apple TV on my network.

Well, that makes at least three of us. Although, I don't have an Apple TV, but I do use AirPlay to send my music through my Apple wi-fi network to an Airport Express.

I reported this problem to Apple's Bug Report site

Perhaps you coud do the same.
