I have tried the above mention instructions but I am still not able to delete the photo albums that were transferred into my iphone...What else can i possibly do?

Those photos are removed by connecting your phone to iTunes, going to the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, unchecking "Sync Photos" (or uncheck the folder containing the photos you no longer want on your phone), then clicking Apply at the bottom to sync your phone.
