I am trying to export a file so I can listen to it on my iphone/itunes, however every option under Share in Garageband is greyed out. I cannot ifnd anything online to help with this!

The only thing I can think of: are all your tracks empty or muted? GB is smart enough to notice that there's nothing to share. Rule of thumb: if you hear nothing when you hit "play", nothing will be exported. Otherwise, trying the fixes for "oddball problems" may help:

Wow. So I had about 15 tracks that were extra and didnt want to be in the transfer, so I did a Save As with a new name and deleted all the tracks I didn't want transferred. So basically this wasn't necessary because any tracks muted won't! You know sometime these things aren't as intuitive as Apple thinks and some actual instructions would be nice.
