I have a MACbook air (recently bought) and would like to connect it to a prother printer (MFC-7840W) wirelessly. I followed instruction and get to a point where the computer shows the documnt is being printed, bt noting happens to at the printer side.
Any suggestions?

Unfortunately your printer is not supported by AirPrint, Apple's method of supporting wireless printers. So I believe you will have to rely on Brother's instructions to figure out how to do the wireless connection. I recommend checking their printer manual and website. Also make sure you have the latest firmware, drivers, etc. for your printer (also from Brother's website).
