How long for delivery from Anchorage to Los Angeles?

Depends on whether you opted for expedited shipping or not. If you chose the free ground, it might take an extra day, depending where you are located.

My experience is that the macbook pros travel from Shanghai to Anchorage, then to Indiana (customs I think, though that seems weird), and then to the final destination.

If its 2-3 day shipping option, then Fed-Ex seems to keep the package moving 24hours/day. In my case (twice actually, both 2-3 day shipping), my package went from Anchorage to Indiana and arrived in Seattle within 24 hours. Pretty amazing.
