Iphone 4s update IOS 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 not work : weather , messenger , facebook etc,,,, help

What does "not work" mean? That is an extremely vague and frankly useless statement.
What has been tried to resolve the issue?

not work : messenger not open , weather update , facebook not open
Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup and then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
it close my i phone with the puck in at computer i try but it not use them
