I have a problem backing up my phone. I have delered my previous back ups and now the itunes is not taking the back of my phone. It says "itunes could not back up the iphone because the iphone is disconnected" even though its connected properly. Its not even syncing new songs to my phone.... please help

It told me to delete the lockdown folder. Now itunes is not even detecting my device. It says unknown error occured....
What OS are you using on your computer?

Follow the directions here, exactly, to completely remove iTunes, then reinstall such:
I did everything exactly the same way as it said.I uninstalled itunes, restarted my computer and then again downloaded a new version of itunes and installed it and then tried to sync my phone but no use. No problem syncing my ipad but it doesnt sync my phone.
Please can anybody help me out with my problem?
