App Store problem - blank update screen iPhone 5

hi... I see many people say update 6.1 fixed the problem... however I didn't have this blank issue until I updated my iphone 5 from 6.0.2 to 6.1 today... am I the only one here??...

good news (partially) is... I just updated my ipad 3 to 6.1 and it doesn't have the blank issue, at least for now...

go back and try fix my iphone 5 again...

6.1 has been a fix for some, but not for me. You are not the only one foxlolo. The upgrade to 6.1 caused my 4S to get this problem, luckily I was able to get back on track by closing the appstore. My ipad is still not working though. Unlike you though, my iPad was having issues on 6.02. 6.1 has not fixed it for me.

Thanks to ava191. The language change has solved the issue. Afterwards I have set the language back. The update screen still works now.

My iPhone 4s has same problem as yours. only update tab didn't work. But I update the IOS to 6.1, it works now. Update your IOS might be help.

I found that when I update some apps or download same apps, sometimes it can't finish, then shows the white blank screen

Hi,

Got this problem since 2 weeks now. I've tried almost every solution that has been suggested on the web.

This includes :

- iPhone reboot

- app process kill

- Time change

- WiFi off + DNS change

- language change

- sign out and resigning in App Store

- full backup of my iPhone

- full clean up (unused apps, movies, old mails...)

And somehow this morning my problem got solved !

The Update page was no longer blank and I managed to get

my 12 apps updated !

Don't really know which of the tasks above did the fixing,

it looks like a fluke shot indeed.

Well, hope you guys get to fixing this problem soon,

I solved it by using the search function to search for apps i suspect/know are the ones to be updated, apps you already have on your iphone that has updates will have an "update" box instead of "open". Update all that has updates. Did this and the next time i had new updates, the problem was solved! Can be tedious if you have too many apps, and it helps if you have an ipad with more or less the same apps!

For a lot of people, the problem is fixed by changing the language from British English, to just plain English.

Sadly changing the language did not help either, like all the other suggestions. I dare not upgrade to 6.1 either bearing in mind the problems I had upgrading to 6.01. Come on Apple sort it out please, or at least tell us what your are doing to resolve the matter and when it will be resolved, thank you.

I had the same problem before. I reset my iPhone 5 (which took about 4 hours) 2 weeks ago and the update screen started working. Today, it is dead again..... 😠

I had this on both my 4S and my iPad3 a couple of weeks ago. Eventually the 4S fixed itself a couple of days before 6.1 was released. I updated both devices to 6.1 and it fixed my iPad3 and the 4S was still good until today when both my 4S and iPad3 wouldn't show updates anymore. They were both set on English so I swapped to British English and my 4S and iPad3 are fixed again.....until the next time.

I never had this problem with the old app store updates. I bet this is going to take them ages to come up with a fix.
