Outside of servers what can't be added? And Thunderbolt may nit ever anyway. GTX 680? PCIe 3.0?96GB RAM? SSD with SATA3 6Gb? Things that PCIe can add.

Apple is building a US manufacturing plant specifically for the MacPro, when that is done the MacPro will come soon after.
