Worth of 2004 eMac

i'm thinking about selling my eMac (2004) to buy a laptop. the computer works great and is top shape and i've never had a problem with it, but i would like to have something more efficient for my desk and work. i'm not sure if this is the place to ask the question, but how much do you think is reasonable to expect for such a model? Can i sell apple-care with it? I think I paid a total of about $1200 (student deal)....maybe a little more....

What GHZ do you have? I'm always checking on prices of eMacs since I'm thinking of selling my 1.42 GHZ. I would say prices vary depending on CPU power, ram, hard drive, etc. Most prices average around 400-800$. 1.42 GHZ are very rare and go for more. With apple care, without knowing your CPU you will be most likely ranging in the 500-600 dollar range (very rough estimate). Please post back the stats of your machine!

Yasmin, eBay can give you a pretty good guide to what your eMac would be worth... simply as a large market for second hand goods. Do a search on "completed" items for your spec eMac and you should get an idea of what you could get for yours.
