I wanted to get the Temple Run 2 app for my iPod Touch 2G. Yet it says Requires iOS 4.2 or later. Why can't they make it compatible for iPod Touch 2G????

You'd have to ask the developer, but most likely the game requires a faster processor and/or graphics chip than the 2nd-generation iPod touch has.

The full requirements for the app are as folows. Not is sasy 3G or higher. The 3G has a better graphics processor than the 2G.
Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 4.2 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
Both of ya were right.... I contacted the developer (Imangi Studios) and they told me the same thing ya said.
