Mac air 1,1 Restore to Factory settings

Hi everyone :


well i finally pulling the Trigger im getting a new Mac Pro


But im giving away my old mac air to my lil sister but i need to do some importants changes


i need to clean out my hard drive and making it Factory settings (to make it look brand new)


and also is it true that the first mac air can be running only with OS X Lion ? i mean it can be running with Mountain Lion ?


well i hope you can help me with simple steps how to restore my Air

1. Throw all sensitive files in the Trash, securely empty it, connect its original thumbdrive, restart it with the Option key held down, use the Disk Utility to erase the internal drive, and install a new OS.

2. The original MacBook Air can't run Mountain Lion.
