what happened to click-and-drag of music to playlists?

I haven't purchased music in 6-months. I have updated I-Tunes to the current version.

Previously, I could find an artist or songs and "click-and-drag" to my playlist(s) to be purchased at a later date.

It now appears I must add them to a "wish list" instead. this seems too cumbersome.
