find my ipad not working
Why wont find my iphone work (on ipad) even though I have it turned on in the settings on icloud?

Both devices need to share same apple id.
On on both devices. And icloud.
Or does it give an error.

They are both using the same apple ID. Everytime I go to use it online, it just says that no device can be detected.
When locating they need to be connected to wifi on both devices.
Still keep getting the same messages "No devices. Set up your icloud account on an iphone, ipad, ipod touch or mac to use Find my iPhone" Both are connected to the wifi.
Do we need to have storage and backup turned on in order for it to work?

Keep getting the same response on both the ipad and on the computer. That there is no device found.

Im sorry im no help but never had this issue before. But im still searching.
I've found that link over and over again myself and its no help and don't worry, any help is better than none.
Try updating app. If needed.
Or need location services on for find my iphone.
The app was just installed today. And the location services are turned on. =\
Ok lets see what we have done.
Wifi needed.
Location services ON
signing in with same apple id as icloud.
Find my ipad ON on in icloud settings.
