I got an iphone 5 today but can't get my apps to show up.

Knowing I was upgrading today from iphone 4 to iphone 5, I saved all my apps to my computer yesterday. Today, after I get the phone, I get to the computer to download the updates, sync, etc. but can't get my apps to show up on the new phone.
