My iPad and iPhone have been sending and receiving mail fine but tonight I've just received the following message:
Mail can't verify the identity of "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com". Would you like to continue anyway?
I don't know, do I? Bit concerned as to what to do. Help please!!

This might be due to a temporary problem on the Mail server.
Thanks JimHdk. So I should just ignore it for now? Bit concerned about accepting the continue option and putting devices at security risk.

I Keep seeing it now too! I don't know what the deal is. I just started seeing it after I signed some petition online and posted on fb from their page where I had to sign into Facebook from. I would love to know what this is about!
My husband is a computer whiz and says definitely dont continue with it. Hit cancel until we know what the issue is
I'm having the same exact issue with the same exact message popping up. Not sure what the deal is, but now I can't send email from my ipad or iphone. Works fine from a computer though.

If this doesn't work, as a work around download the Yahoo Mail App in the App store.
