If you want to print from OS X v10.8.2 to a shared HP 5600 series printer on a Windows XP SP3 box, do not use the HP Print Driver for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, Use the HP Print Driver for Mac OS X 10.6. Also, do not waste your time with Apple or HP support
