keychain problem

keychain problem

i don't know if this is related or not but was having problems with my keychain password. tried to reset, then opened mail and all of my emails disappeared and then i tried to send myself one, usually it will go through but it got hung up. all i get is a little clock thing next to "sent" and when i try to go to preferences in mail all i get is the beachball.

if this is not the forum is there a correct one to post this? please help.

here is another update, under inbox (on left pane) it is now a spinning circle (not beach ball) then under sent, same thing.. down at theh bottom under activitiy, it has "outgoing message" and the blue bar is stuck.

please anyone, help.

Which os version are you using? Keychain troubleshooting is different for each os system.

Post in the os-Mail forum area.

i am using 10.7.5 everything elwe is working now with the keychain except my mail is hung up and all mail has disappeared.e

i did a disk utility premission repair also. is there away "unhang" an outgoing message? i went to my internet provider and accessed my mail through them and it is all there. just not on macbook pro.
