Old Apple ID showing up

Hello all,

I purchased a 2nd hand macbook from a friend. He said that he had wiped the computer prior to offering it for sale and it appears so however I am experiencing a problem.

I connect to the Appstore and sign in with my apple ID. It then shows me the available updates. I am able to update some things however these are the issues I need to work out:

1. It says I have updates for a program I do not have ie Keynotes

2. It will not let me update iPhoto

On both occasions if I press "update" then it brings up a box where it says "You have updates available for other accounts. Sign in to xxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com to update applications for that account"

I have checked my account under the "Store" tab and can only see my account.

Can someone please help and tell me how I get rid of this other account?

thanks in advance

MacBook, iOS 6.0.2
