Jan 25, 2013 4:41 AM in response to mahiderby Barney-15E,What did you download?
If it wasn't Flip4Mac, then download and install that (there is a free version, so no need to buy the advanced versions).

Jan 25, 2013 5:37 AM in response to mahiderby Badunit,Have you done the obvious things to try to fix it: quit Quicktime then start it back up again, log out then back in, reboot.
Edit: Just read one of your later posts. If VLC won't play it, this is unrelated to Quicktime and Flip4Mac. Are you sure these wmv files are okay?

Jan 25, 2013 5:34 PM in response to mahiderby Barney-15E,If the movie has DRM, then you can't play it on your Mac. I don't know if the paid version of Flip4Mac will play it.
However, I see later on you can't play any files in Quicktime? Is that any of your wmv's or any video file at all?

Jun 7, 2013 7:56 AM in response to mahiderby grnhd,I am having this same problem. I can play the files in VMware and on Windows OS with media player, but nothing on my mac side. I have tried VLC player, QT7, QT10, DivX...audio plays but not video. Installed codec, nothing works.
