Why doesn't IWork 9.3 not load properly in OSX Mountain Lion?

After upgrading to Mt. Lion. I updated IWork to version 9.3. It ctashed immediatly so I deleted it from my hard drive and re-installed from my DvD for IWork version 09. I downloaded the update again and it re-installed. Now Pages comes up but no template choser. Keynote still crashes and Number just loads and simply refuses to work. I noticed that there is no reference in the library to IWork at all. That seems incorrect to me. Anyone have an answer?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

You need to completely remove iWork before reinstallation. Once you have done that, the familiar reinstallation and upgrade process should provide a fully functional iWork suite.

Follow the steps in this prior Pages community thread. In particular, the green checkmark outlining the steps to fully remove iWork via the downloadable AppleScript utility.
