iPod 5 not found on PC with iTunes installed.

My Windows 7 Professional x64 can not see my iPod 5 when iTunes (or any Apple software) is installed. I completely remove all & the PC will find the iPod. Reinstall the latest Apple software & the PC can no longer find my iPod. Very frustrating. Bought new cable & tried the reinstalls many many times but always the same. Already spoken to support with no joy.

Anyone have any ideas please? I love iTunes but its no use if I can not see my iPod...

iPod touch, Windows 7, Professional 64bit

Hi IIIaass, I have seen your many posts to do these same steps. I have now gone through them many times with no succes. Even with tech support on the phone.

As mentioned above I have also had tech support call me & they have not been able to correct the issue (2 separate reps). I was told it is fairly common & appears to be an issue between iPod touch 5, new iTunes & Windows. But no one including Apple has a solution yet.

Is there a higher level of support I can talk too ?

Does anyone in the community have a working solution, not just remove, reinstall & hope ?

Or do I just have to abandon Apple softwear ?

Please help, anyone ?
