My Mail has stopped working. It says: Make sure Mail.app is located in the Applications folder. Check for software updates to Mail or reinstall Mail. How do I update/reinstall Mail ?? I have Mac Version 10.6.8 & Mail version 4.5

My Mail, App store & Quick time player has stopped working after software update. The apps do not even Launch after I try to open it. Please Help ! It says Mail is not compatible with my current Mac version. How to I update Mail or reinstall it? PLEASE HELP !!
