Power Mac G5 not sleeping, and no audio on right side of any connected speaker.

Hello, I have a Power Mac G5 1.8 GHz dual core, but recently it has not wanted to go to sleep. I have also noticed that if I am using the 3.5 mm audio jacks, only the right side of the speakers or headphones work. I have heard that HP Printers might effect the sleeping so I have removed all of the printers from the control pannel. It is running on 2 GB of RAM and it has a 1 TB HDD installed. It is Running Leopard (OS X 10.5.8) Please help!

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

P. Just in the interest of future clarity, the G5 1.8s were not Dual Core, but Dual Processor, 2 CPUs instead of 2 Cores per CPU. 🙂
