Synchronization Problem Adobe-Photoschop / i-tune / iPod

My photos are organized in Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. I use albums which allows me to present the pictures in the sequence of my choice. In an attempt to snchronize my Adobe Photoshop albums with the i-Pod nano (in order to have my albums transportable in pocketsize and to be able able to show them on devices of choice such as TVs. In older versions of i-tune I was able the albums were presented to me and I was able to select those that I wanted to have loaded to my iPod nano. In the newest version of i-tune the same functionality is available BUT DOES NOT SEEM to work! Any suggestions? (I lost all my albums on the iPod with the exception of one)
