I am trying to use IPhoto on Icloud and have to upgrade it. Told since I am at 8.1.2 I need to upgrade to 9.0.1 first , then 9.1 and then 9.2.1 but I cannot find it to download.

I am trying to use IPhoto on Icloud and have to upgrade it. Told since I am at 8.1.2 I need to upgrade to 9.0.1 first , then 9.1 and then 9.2.1 but I cannot find it to download.

When I go to software updates on my computer it says there are no updates available. When I try to manually update, it brings me to 9.1, not 9.0.1. I already have downloaded 9.1 but it isn't installed because says I need to download 9.0 first.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Upgrading from iPhoto '09 (Version 8.12.) to iPhoto '11 9verson 9.x.x) is a paid update = purchase in the App store

If you are using iPhoto 8, you need to purchase iPhoto 9 from the App Store. Going from iPhoto 8 to iPhoto 9 is not a simple download type of upgrade, you have to purchase it.
