I am downloading a movie from itunes store to ipad (1). It shows up in the videos on the ipad and I can watch. But when I press the airplay button to see it on the apple tv (second gen) I only get the sound of the movie, not the picture. I have downloaded about half the movie so far
You can not watch copyrighted content over AirPlay. This is a restriction of the copyright holder(s). Nothing Apple can do about it.
This seemed odd, since I rented the movie from the itunes store. And, in fact, once the downloading finished (it takes a long time on this old ipad( I tried again and the movie -audio and video - both appeared on my tv.
