Final Cut Up Date, What Video Card is required

Your computer’s video card does not meet the minimum system requirements. I have a 8 core 2.88 3,1 & my card is ATI Radeon HD 2600.

Some graphic cards aren't compatible with Final Cut Pro X because it requires a OpenCL-compatible graphic card. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4664

Do you have any idea if the card I bought is correct befor I install it, there is no drivers for Mac on their site?

ASUS EAH5570 CU , it say on the box powered by ATI HD 5770, and that is why I bought it? I have a 2008 Mc pro 2.8 8 core. 20 gig of ram running 10.8.2

First of all, I'm not sure if that card will work with a Mac Pro (as it's a ASUS one), so just try it. Install it and start your Mac. If it works, congratulations. If not, you will have to buy another graphic card for the Mac Pro. An ATI Radeon HD 5770 works without any problem with Final Cut

I did not know, there was 2 versions PC & Apple. ITried it won't work on apple it's the PC version. On the hunt again.
