question : is safari 5.0.6 still maintained?-especially the security features
Is the maintenance of safari 5.0.6 still up to date ? i'm worried about security, in light of Firefox desisting to maintain its version for Leopard.

No it is not, but...
TenFourFox is the most up to date browser for our PPCs, they even have G4 & G5 optimized versions...
