Dropbox and ipad2

I am having a problem with the app Dropbox on my iPad. I downloaded it and thought I was set to go. But all I get when I click the Dropbox icon on the home scene is a what looks like a Dropbox menu that has only the options of GETTING STARTED. Or PHOTO. There are no other options. No preview of files. No Dropbox app shows. No other buttons green or blue to be seen. What have I done wrong or missed? I created a photo folder and uploaded pictures perfectly.
