slide show disc created in iDVD freezes when played on blu ray player

i burn the disc, it plays great on my computer but freezes when i play it in my blu ray player
Your Mac can only burn CDs or DVDs. The blu ray player requires a blu ray disk which the Mac can't burn. Allan
oddly enough, i had success with a previous disc i created. however there was some weird time coding that appeared briefly between songs

• iDVD SlideShow is limited to 99 photos per show and 99 shows per DVD
• DVD disk used Brand and Type - I only use Verbatim SL DVD-R
• Did You set down BURN SPEED - I do to x2
• Free space on Start-Up (Mac OS) Hard Disk - I never go less than 25GB
• Material format
- as photo file types .jmp, .bmp, .tif etc and - I only use .jmp
- Video Codecs is used AND - I only use StreamingDV
- AUDIO file format as .mp3, .aif, .wma etc - I ONLY use .aiff - NEVER .mp3 EVER
