Im getting a 1418 eror Ipod can not be restored

im trying to put music on my really old 1st gen ipod shuffel. I tried formating it, reseting to factory condition, updating, dragging music on into it, ect.

Im getting a green and orange flash when im trying to play somthing. Maybe its to old but im still trying to make it work.
