I can't get my ipad retina to recognize my jbl flip speaker though my other ipad does. What can I do?

Here's how to connect a different device to the JBL flip. The Flip will only accept one device at a time.

Step One: Turn off the bluetooth on the previous device or, in the case of an apple product, tell your device to forget the JBL Flip.

Step Two: Turn on the JBL Flip. You'll hear the beep and the blue light will flash.

Step Three: Re-press the power button and hold the indicator light around the power button blinks red and then release.

Step Four: Follow your normal pairing procedure.
