My rented movie was interrupted

I recently purchased a rented SD movie for my iPad called : pitch perfect ,I was watching my movie and it just went black.when I looked up top it said the movie was playing.I tried skipping to the next chapter but it did not work.When I went back a chapter..it worked,,,...but when I hit that point of the movie..it just stopped working.Please help me
