my jam packs are not showing in garage band
My garage band says it wants to update, but when I go to the App store it says none are needed. I also tried to add my main tage jam packs and it say that happened but I cannot find them

For Mainstage 2 Jam Packs check the download status - see my post here - you may need to reindex the loops:

Did GarageBand come preinstalled on your Mac and you now need to download and install the additional contents?
